This book truly needs no introduction, so I will speak from my own personal thoughts/opinions.
ACOTAR is one of my comfort reads. If you go to my Goodreads and check my reading challenges, you can see what my toughest years were personally, because I re-read ACOTAR multiple times. The first book is a perfect introduction into the world, and includes a perfect blend of coziness and epic-ness (is that a word?). I remember when I first read it, I felt so connected to Feyre. I felt her hunger, her fear, her love, her strength. Since reading the rest of the series, I have lost that deep connection to Feyre, but I learn something new each time I re-read the first book. Without Feyre we would not have the stories of the Inner Circle, of Nesta and Cassian, or of [insert whoever the MC are for A Court of Splintered Harmony here].
This book is perfect if you love romance, fantasy, and character driven stories.
